AMV Contest

Rules:

Deadline is January 4, 2013

No longer than five minutes in length.

Only three entries MAXIMUM will be accepted per individual.

Entries much be at least 640 x 480 pixels and must run faster than 23.97 frames per second.

All entries must be in .avi, .mp4, or .wmv format.

Upload all entries to an external hosting site like dropbox, mediafire, rapidshare or similar websites. Email the link to the submission to info@swampcon.com with the following information:
Subject – Swampcon AMV contest
Description of AMV
Link to submission
Link to YouTube submission/channel (optional).

Keep it PG-13 or lower – be mindful of sexual content, coarse language, violence, gore and nudity. We have the right to reject any entry that we deem too explicit for younger audiences.

 

Tips:

Categories will be made based on the types of entries and how many we receive.
—-Possible categories: Best romance, best comedy, best trailer, judge’s choice, best action, etc.

Judges will look for timing, technical skills (i.e. special effects), sentimentality and enjoyment.

For the sake of time, some AMVs may not be shown, so only enter your best!
