Charities

Swampcon’s Charity Collection efforts will include the following events this year:

Filling Bilbo’ Chest: This year we are attempting to fill Bilbo’s Chest for the charities we are supporting. During registration guests will be asked if they want to donate to our supported charities. If you have spare change or a spare few dollars, anything given will be appreciated and donated to Doctors without Borders, Alachua County Forever, and Alachua Habitat for Humanity in a 1/3 split.

Charity Auction: A silent auction will be held in room 355 in which donated games, books, art, and other items are being put to auction. All of the money raised from the charity auction will be donated to Doctors without Borders, Alachua County Forever, and Alachua Habitat for Humanity in a 1/3 split.

The charities we are supporting this year include Alachua County Forever, Doctors Without Borders, and Habitat for Humanity.
